Holiday Malaysia – Experience

vibrant city breaks, trekking deep in the jungles of Borneo looking for Orang Utans, releasing Turtle hatchlings back into the natural habitat, playing a round or two of golf, exploring the magnificent ocean or simply soaking up the sun on a sandy It is lying coast, overlooking the blue waters Crystal. Holidays in Malaysia's really kind of amazing scope and has something to offer everyone.

Malaysia I have been many times now and never get tired of this place.

During the last trip I visited Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia (of course), Penang, Langkawi and Borneo

lived in Kuala Lumpur, Berjaya Times Square Hotel and highly recommend it. However, this is classed as a 5 star probably rate it a very good 4-star. Suite is very spacious and very well priced and offered a prime location just a 3-minute walk from the Bukit Bintan area. I recommend a visit to the Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower dinner and a visit to Chinatown. There's a lot more to do in and around Kuala Lumpur as a trip to the Batu Caves, as well as to the fireflies, but generally 2-3 days is enough to get a good feel for the place and only so much you can do without the provision of the time too many .

Penang is a great place, but many people treat it as a Holiday Beach but I personally recommend to stay in the capital city of Georgetown and treated as a City break before moving onto somewhere like Langkawi. Langkawi is just a short flight or ferry transfer to Penang beach and in my opinion offers a much better experience. Attractions Georgetown Penang would Cheong Mansion Fatz a trishaw ride and a trip to the Little India of fruit, spice and butterfly farms.

Langkawi is one of my favorite places in Malaysia. There was a very relaxed atmosphere and is the ideal place to escape from it all for a while. He also enjoys duty-free so it is a bit cheaper than other places. Good trips here are the Cable Car Ride, a mangrove forest boat trip and Island hopping trip to the "Island of the pregnant lady," so named because it looks like a pregnant woman down from a distance. Many hotels to choose from in Langkawi Mutiara Burau Bay Resort 3 star luxury Datai Hotel.

Borneo in my top two favorite places in the world. I started my trip with a stay at the Shangri La Tanjung Aru Resort in Kota Kinabalu near Centre. Standards here are amazing, although the artificial beach. It was not a big problem, as I am only here one night before I went to the Wildlife Tour.

After a night at the Shangri La Tanjung Aru Resort I started before my transfer to Sandakan Kinabatangan River. Along the way I stopped Gomontong witness Caves, where the harvest of the birds nest Birds Nest Soup. This place is full of mistakes and it's pretty hard to avoid strengthening them, so it's not for the faint-hearted. To Gomontong you walk through a wooded area about 15 minutes and I had my eyes the whole time, hoping and praying I would see an orangutan Utan. Unfortunately, this did not happen, and I decided I was being too optimistic expecting to source "Wildman of Borneo" during the first meeting of the rainforest. A little disappointed, but not too down I begin Kinabatangan River. It took about one hour by boat to reach the lodge jetty and again my eyes peeled. I checked, and we had a little time to rest before the first scheduled boat trips in search of Wildlife.

I'm not good at spending time on your own so I went to the bar and started talking to an American couple, who have completed their round the world trip. These, as well as a couple, a German man and a French woman were to take my company to the two nights I was there, and they all seemed to understand each other very well. After a few drinks we headed down to Kinabatangan and it was unfortunate that the special Proboscus monkey and a crocodile along with many birds, but there is still no Orang Utan. Afternoon enough to repeat this process at any other direction, and they said there were sightings dwarf elephants, but could not find them.

The next morning we headed to an area called Ox Bow Lake, and we started the trek through the jungle. I felt like cloud nine. I always dreamed of going to Borneo, i really like the Wildlife and I felt like I was in a Wildlife documentary expedition as he trekked through the jungle. My guide was issued calls to try and attract the Orang Utans, although he did tell me that the Orang Utans kept confrontational so I was not quite sure how I felt about it. I decided that if the only chance to see the natural environment Wildman of Borneo was to end the fighting one, then so be it !! We found an Orang Utan Nest but still no Orang Utan. On the way back to the boat my guide had a conversation with a brightly colored bird. Bird whistled melody and the answer, it is quite amusing to witness.

after

dinner I had planned to do a night walk with my guide and we left, and I've noticed we were headed in a different direction to everyone else. I asked where we were going, and the response of the leaders, "so you have to walk through the pre-planned, so wimps, I like to have your own wandering". Excellent !!! We set out machetes in hand, as Terence hacked a path for us in the dense vegetation. We saw none other than insects and Deer when we reached the river blocking our way. "Hmm," Terence said, it seems, our path is blocked, you may have to go back. "He looked at his watch and said that" too early to go back, "and wading through the river. I'm knee-deep in the water, deep black except for a small amount of light received my torch. Some might not have been too impressed, but I do not be happier. a real experience I've dreamed of for years, and to top things off I spent on this purpose.

the next morning I woke up still thinking of my previous nights experience, and although I have been completely blown out of my tour so far, there was still something missing. I still have not seen the elusive orang Utan in its natural habitat. There was also had to set off before a boat ride, and I convinced myself we would see one. We have reached the end point of our journey, and it was time to go back to the Resort to collect their bags and leave for the airport. I kept my head down, disappointed that I had not seen the only thing I was hoping that when I suddenly heard a cry of my guide, he did not let me down. he saw an orang Utan in a nearby tree . The captain pulled the boat to the shore of the river, and the driver jumped out of the boat to get closer. I stated at this point that he is a little crazy, but in my eyes it was just a hero. The Orang Utan threw feces at him, a defense mechanism to prevent unwanted visitors, but in all fairness he put on quite a display for us. He is now back home a very happy man.

On the way home I stopped to see Sepilok Orang Utans Rehabilitation Centre for orphaned and I witnessed the morning feeding. This is an extremely enjoyable to watch them play with each other, and it's definitely worth a stop if in the area.

spent the last night at the Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort, which is located about 45 minutes from Kota Kinabalu Centre. This hotel benefits from a spectacular 3km stretch of white sand beach and within its own nature reserve area, where you can visit the orphaned Orang Utans and monitor the rehabilitation must be ready to return to the wild. This Reserve is working with the side Sepilok Rehabilitation Centre, and they are doing a great job with preserving this fantastic creature.

This was by far the best in Malaysia, and I can thoroughly recommend Borneo to anyone who has a passion for wildlife. I can not thank you enough for everything Terence guide for what he did to my left everything I had hoped and more. Terence actually born in the jungle and it was a way of life, it does not work, and that shone through every minute I spent with her.
